How we earn from some links, and our promise to keep every review honest.

Last updated: July 9, 2026

Better With Tech (betterwithtechhub.com) is a reader supported tech blog and YouTube hub. To keep our reviews, comparisons, and videos free, some of the links on this site are affiliate links. This page explains exactly what that means, in plain language, so you always know where we stand.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a special tracking link to a product or service. If you click one of our links and then buy something, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. That commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket: you never pay a cent more for using our link, and the price is exactly the same as if you had gone to the store directly.

Programs we take part in

Better With Tech is a participant in several affiliate and advertising programs. The main one is the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a way for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon and its affiliated marketplaces. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

We may also partner with other retailers, brands, and affiliate networks (for example manufacturer stores and electronics marketplaces). Whenever a link can earn us a commission, we treat it the same way described here.

How this affects what we recommend

It does not. Every pick here is earned. We dig deep, do the real research, and break it all down so you know exactly what you’re getting, not which product pays us the highest commission. We recommend gadgets, AI tools, and software the way we would recommend them to a friend. If something is not worth your money, we say so, even when there is a commission on the line. Earning a commission never buys a better review.

  • We choose products first, then look for affiliate links, not the other way around.
  • A commission never changes a score, a ranking, or an honest opinion.
  • We flag the downsides of products we like, and we are happy to recommend options we earn nothing from when they are the better choice.

How we label affiliate content

Articles, comparisons, and pages that contain affiliate links carry a clear disclosure near the relevant content, in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials. This page serves as our site wide disclosure, and individual posts repeat it where links appear so you are never left guessing.

Prices and availability

Prices, discounts, and availability shown on third party sites can change at any time and are outside our control. Always confirm the current price, specifications, and terms on the retailer’s own page before you buy. We are not responsible for the content, pricing, or policies of the stores we link to.

Sponsored content

If a brand ever pays us directly to feature a product, or sends us a product for free to review, we will disclose that relationship clearly and separately. Free or sponsored products are still reviewed on their merits, with the same honesty as anything we buy ourselves.

Questions

We want you to trust every recommendation you read here. If anything about how we earn money is unclear, or you spot a link you think should be labelled, email us at hello@betterwithtechhub.com and we will make it right.
